SUMMARY:

TreeNewal Certified Arborist provides residential and commercial arborilogical services in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas. We are looking for an experienced Tree Climber.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for climbing, pruning, and removing trees on residential and commercial properties following ANSI standards at all times.
• Execute work based on tree species’ proper pruning practices and company guidelines.
• Perform perfectly executed pruning cuts and skilled rigging practices.
• Ensure meticulous clean-up is performed at each and every jobsite.
• Properly prepare, maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
• Safely operate company vehicles driving to and from job sites.
• Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of professional tree climbing experience preferred.
• Proven climbing knowledge and experience utilizing climbing and pruning equipment, including rope systems, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation, and chipper operation.
• Has knowledge of tree species and proper pruning practices and executes work accordingly.
• Experience with rigging and lowering skills to perform tree pruning and removals safely.
• Adheres to ANSI standards at all times.
• Knowledge of cabling, bracing techniques and methods in accordance with ANSI Standards.
• Excellent customer service skills, ensuring customers are 100% satisfied.
• Ability to perform physically demanding manual labor outdoors, and in all weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full Time

Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.

Eligible for Overtime
