Who We Are

Wes Rivers grew up with his hands in the dirt. What started as mowing lawns and doing landscape work around Dallas turned into a lifelong calling. After earning his Forestry degree with a minor in Horticulture from Stephen F. Austin State University, Wes knew his future was in the trees.

He spent over two decades mastering his craft, working his way from Alpine Tree Service to Bartlett Tree Experts in Southlake, where he ranked among the top three producers in the North Texas region and 25th out of 400 ISA Certified Arborists nationwide. Along the way, he earned the ISA Board Certified Master Arborist designation, the highest level of certification offered by the International Society of Arboriculture. Fewer than two percent of all ISA Certified Arborists in the world hold this distinction.

In 2022 Wes joined TreeNewal as Co-Owner and Vice President of Operations, and today he leads the company as sole owner. His vision for TreeNewal is simple: deliver expert tree care while treating every property as a complete ecosystem.

“Homeowners don’t care exclusively about their trees. They care about the entire landscape,” Wes explains. “How we manage the trees affects the turf and plants, and vice versa. I look at the property as a complete ecosystem, and that makes a real difference in the results we deliver.”

With expertise in turf grass management and general horticulture alongside his deep arboricultural knowledge, Wes brings a perspective few in the industry can match.
