Tree Health Analysis
With Air Spading
The Air Spade allows our Arborist to clear soil from the tree’s base and examine the root flare below the surface without harming the tree. The root flare is the part of the tree’s trunk that intersects the root tissue. Uncovering this part of the trunk allows our Arborist to diagnose and gather more valuable information regarding the tree’s health.
Safely Find Signs Of Root Decay
Air Spading can also help determine if the grade and soil have recently changed around the tree’s base. A changed grade or compacted soil can harm the tree’s health. Our Arborists can see signs of root decay that can eventually lead to tree failure by exposing the root flare.
